Comparison review
The Motorola edge is just a bit better than LG Velvet, getting an 89.6 score against 87.1. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, the Motorola edge is a just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker device than LG Velvet. The Motorola edge's processor is very similar to LG Velvet's processing unit, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM.
The LG Velvet has a bit sharper screen than Motorola edge, because it has a little bit greater display pixels density, a bit larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2460. Motorola edge features a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG Velvet, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory capacity.
Motorola edge has a little better battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has a 5% more battery capacity. The Motorola edge takes just a bit better photos and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same aperture, the Motorola edge also has a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG Velvet. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola edge, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG Velvet, resigning a couple features and specifications.
