Comparison review
LG Velvet is much better than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, getting an 87.1 score against 77.6. Although LG Velvet and Motorola Moto G8 Plus were released only a few months apart, LG Velvet is thinner and a bit lighter. The LG Velvet has just a bit better looking display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a just a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2460 and a bit larger screen.
LG Velvet has a little faster CPU than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG Velvet also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Moto G8 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the same video resolution, the same video frame rates and a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, the Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures.
LG Velvet has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G8 Plus, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. LG Velvet features a bit longer battery life than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
