Comparison review
LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 score. LG Velvet's construction is way newer and a little thinner, but heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. The Galaxy S5 Plus features a sharper display than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a quite greater pixels amount in each inch of display.
The Galaxy S5 Plus and LG Velvet have extremely similar processors, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has lesser RAM and 4 less CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics processor. LG Velvet counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 112 GB more internal storage and a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. LG Velvet takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG Velvet also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos and videos, a camera with a lot higher resolution and a much larger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The LG Velvet is a little more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
