LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is much better than the Galaxy XCover 5's general score of 78.1. LG Velvet's design is thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, although it's a little bit heavier and was released only 10 months before. The LG Velvet features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG Velvet also has more RAM memory.
LG Velvet has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a bigger screen. LG Velvet has a much better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same aperture, the LG Velvet also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with much more MP.
LG Velvet counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet counts with a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
