Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a global score of 88.5, which is just a bit better than the LG Velvet's score of 87.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the LG Velvet were only released 3 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip design is a little heavier but also a little thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a bit better processing power than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a little more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2636 resolution and a quite greater pixels density. The LG Velvet captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution and the same aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
LG Velvet features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG Velvet. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG Velvet, giving up a couple features and specs.
