Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is just a bit better than LG Velvet, getting a general score of 91.1 against 87.1. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a extremely heavier but incredibly thinner phone than LG Velvet. The LG Velvet has a much more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a much better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit inferior pixels count per inch of display, it also counts with a better 1968 x 2184px resolution and a bigger display. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than LG Velvet, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a little better battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has a 2% bigger battery size. The LG Velvet counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a back facing camera with a lot lower resolution, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
Although Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG Velvet. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG Velvet, giving up some specifications.
