Comparison review
LG Velvet is a little bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, having a general score of 87.1 against 79.8. The LG Velvet is a just a little lighter cellphone than Xperia XZ Premium, but they are equally thin. The LG Velvet and the Xperia XZ Premium count with really similar processing units, and although the Xperia XZ Premium has less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a much better screen pixel density. The LG Velvet features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The LG Velvet has a superior camera than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also has a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.
LG Velvet counts with greater battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 33% bigger battery capacity.
