LG Octane has a score of 34.7, which is a bit better than the LG VX5400's 31.8 global score. The LG Octane body is a lot thinner but heavier than the LG VX5400. LG Octane's processor is very similar to the LG VX5400 one, both of them have the same number of cores. LG Octane features a bit better display than LG VX5400, because it has a much higher resolution of 240 x 320px and a just a bit higher pixels amount per inch in the display.
The LG Octane features a very superior storage for games and applications than LG VX5400, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 16 GB. LG Octane features a way better camera than LG VX5400, because it has a lot higher resolution back facing camera. The LG VX5400 features a much longer battery life than LG Octane.
