Galaxy Note8 is better than LG X venture, getting a overall score of 83 against 71.7. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG X venture has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The Galaxy Note8 body is somewhat heavier but just a little bit thinner than the LG X venture, and both were released with only 4 months difference.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better processing power than LG X venture, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better looking display than LG X venture, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a little bit higher display pixel density and a bigger display.

The LG X venture counts with a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better camera than LG X venture, because although it has a camera in the back with a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot higher video definition and a way bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light environments.

The LG X venture features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 24 percent more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG X venture, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG X venture. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG X venture, resigning a couple features and specifications.
