Xperia Z3 is way better than Meizu MX3, having a 77.3 score against 55.7. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z3 has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Meizu MX3 has Android 4.2 version. Xperia Z3's design is newer and a bit thinner than the Meizu MX3's, but it is also heavier.
The Sony Xperia Z3 has a better screen than Meizu MX3, because it has a little higher amount of pixels in each display inch, a little bigger display and a bit higher resolution of 1920 x 1080. The Xperia Z3 features a better performance than Meizu MX3, because although it has less CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM memory and a graphics co-processor.
The Xperia Z3 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Meizu MX3, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia Z3 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB. Xperia Z3 counts with longer battery lifetime than Meizu MX3, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 2400mAh.
Xperia Z3 features a much better camera than Meizu MX3, because it has a much better video resolution and a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels.
The Sony Xperia Z3 costs a little more money than the Meizu MX3, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
