Galaxy S III is just a bit better than Lumia 640, having a 70 score against 64.3. Galaxy S III works with Android 4.3 OS, while Lumia 640 works with Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The Galaxy S III body is a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the Lumia 640. Galaxy S III features just a bit better display than Lumia 640, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Galaxy S III also counts with a just a bit higher pixels count per display inch.
The Galaxy S III has a bit faster CPU than Lumia 640, because although it has 2 less CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor.
