Comparison review

The LG G5 has a global score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than the Lumia 950 XL's overall score of 75. LG G5 works with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, while Lumia 950 XL comes with Windows 10 Mobile operating system. LG G5's construction is just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the Lumia 950 XL, although they were only released 6 months apart.

The Lumia 950 XL has a little bit better looking screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit lower count of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Lumia 950 XL also counts with a quite larger screen. LG G5 has just a bit better processing power than Lumia 950 XL, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster).

The LG G5 counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Lumia 950 XL, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G5 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Lumia 950 XL features a slightly better camera than LG G5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Lumia 950 XL also counts with a back camera with more MP and a bigger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has superior battery life than LG G5, because it has a 3340mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lumia 950 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lumia 950 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy LG G5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Lumia 950 XL, resigning a couple features and specifications.
