The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a global score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the Lumia 950 XL's 75 overall score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is noticeably heavier than the Lumia 950 XL, it's a bit thinner and newer. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM.
Lumia 950 XL features a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Lumia 950 XL, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a very superior battery life than Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3340mAh. The Lumia 950 XL features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Lumia 950 XL also has a bigger sensor, a back facing camera with a much better 20 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also cheaper than the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, making this phone a very good choice.
