The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a score of 76, which is just a bit better than the Lumia 950 XL's 75 general score. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and Lumia 950 XL comes with Windows 10 Mobile OS. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 body is newer and just a little bit thinner than Lumia 950 XL's, but it is also a little bit heavier.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a little faster processing unit than Lumia 950 XL, because it has a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Lumia 950 XL has a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Lumia 950 XL also has a higher pixel density and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has more memory to install applications and games than Lumia 950 XL, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Lumia 950 XL takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser mega-pixels resolution and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger camera sensor and a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low light environments.

Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Lumia 950 XL. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, resigning some features and specs.
