Apple iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Lumia 950, with an 87.1 score against 74.1. Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is way heavier than the Lumia 950, it's a bit thinner and also newer. The Microsoft Lumia 950 features a brighter screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Lumia 950, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a way better hardware performance than Lumia 950, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also has a 64-bits processor and more cores.
The Lumia 950 has a bit better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh. Microsoft Lumia 950 counts with a slightly better camera than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Microsoft Lumia 950 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing lot better quality photos and a lot better resolution back camera.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Lumia 950, giving up some specifications.
