The Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is a bit better than the Lumia 950's 74.1 global score. The Galaxy Note 5 comes with Android 5.1 operating system, and Lumia 950 has Windows 10 Mobile operating system. Even though the Galaxy Note 5 and Lumia 950 were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Note 5's body is somewhat heavier but also just a bit thinner.
Lumia 950 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Lumia 950 also counts with a just a little better amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit better processor than Lumia 950, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 5 also has more RAM memory.
Microsoft Lumia 950 features more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 200 GB. Galaxy Note 5 features a battery lifetime that is very similar to Lumia 950's battery life.
The Lumia 950 takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Lumia 950 also has a camera with a higher 20 mega pixels resolution and a larger camera sensor.
The Galaxy Note 5 costs more money than Microsoft Lumia 950, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
