Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than the Lumia 950's global score of 74.1. Galaxy S5's design has the same thickness than the Lumia 950, but it is a little lighter. The Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Lumia 950 has Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
Galaxy S5 has a better processor than Microsoft Lumia 950, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S5 also has a larger number of faster cores and a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit sharper screen than Lumia 950, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a quite better count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Lumia 950 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Lumia 950 also has a more mega-pixels back facing camera, a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a larger diafragm aperture.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 features a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Microsoft Lumia 950 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 200 GB. Microsoft Lumia 950 features just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
Galaxy S5 costs more money than Lumia 950, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
