The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Lumia 950's global score of 74.1. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro body is noticeably newer than the Microsoft Lumia 950's, but it's a lot heavier and thicker. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with Android 8.0 Oreo OS, and Microsoft Lumia 950 counts with Windows 10 Mobile OS.
Microsoft Lumia 950 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a quite worse screen density, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Microsoft Lumia 950 also counts with a bit bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Lumia 950, because it has more internal memory and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a superior processor than Lumia 950, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a very superior battery performance than Lumia 950, because it has a 50% more battery capacity. The Microsoft Lumia 950 has a lot better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video quality, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Lumia 950, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Lumia 950. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Lumia 950, resigning some specifications.
