Huawei Mate X is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, getting an 89.4 score against 85.3. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has Android 11. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Huawei Mate X construction is older, a lot thicker and just a little bit heavier than Microsoft Surface Duo 2.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little worse pixels density and a quite lower resolution of 1892 x 2688, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Huawei Mate X counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X. They have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei Mate X features a battery life that is very similar to Microsoft Surface Duo 2's battery duration, although the Huawei Mate X also has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4449mAh.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Duo 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
