Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has an overall score of 85.3, which is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro's 81.4 general score. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a incredibly newer and notably thinner phone than Huawei P20 Pro, but it's also way heavier. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has newer 11 version while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features just a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a slightly better display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a just a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a really larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1892 x 2688.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has worse video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way better resolution back-facing camera. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with as much memory capacity for apps and games as Microsoft Surface Duo 2, both have equal internal memory capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20 Pro, giving up a couple features and specifications.
