Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a general score of 85.3, which is a bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ's overall score of 81.2. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's design is much newer and notably thinner, but much heavier than LG V40 ThinQ. These phones work with Android OS, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version.
LG V40 ThinQ features a display that is just as good as the display in Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although the LG V40 ThinQ has a little lower resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density. LG V40 ThinQ has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG V40 ThinQ's CPU is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 one, and although the LG V40 ThinQ has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. LG V40 ThinQ shoots slightly better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution camera in the back, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light situations.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has better battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4449mAh battery capacity.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you want to save some dollars, you can get LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
