The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has an overall score of 85.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active's general score of 80.9. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the newer 11 version and Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy S6 Active has a bit faster processor than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has 5 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an additional graphics processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a little worse 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels number per inch in the screen. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low light situations.

The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S6 Active. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S6 Active, giving up some features and specs.
