Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, getting an 85.6 score against 85.3. Both devices in this review use the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3's construction is way lighter but thicker than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and they were released with only a couple months difference.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a processing unit that's just as good as Microsoft Surface Duo 2's processing unit, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 8 GB of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a just a bit worse number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1892 x 2688 and a larger display.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 both have quite similar memory capacity for games and applications, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because it has a 35 percent larger battery capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels resolution back camera, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited environments.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface Duo 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, resigning some specs and features.
