Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, having a score of 94.6 against 85.3. Both devices we compare here include the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should provide the same operating system features. Galaxy Z Fold 2 is an older and thicker cellphone than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but Samsung was able to build it just a bit lighter anyway.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a quite higher screen density, a bit higher 1892 x 2688px resolution and a little bit bigger screen. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has more internal storage.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, although it has a smaller aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 60 fps video frame rates and a same resolution back camera.
Galaxy Z Fold 2's battery life is just as good as the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 one, although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a 1 percent larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Duo 2. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, letting go a couple features and specifications.
