Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a more recent 14 version while Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has Android 11 version, providing the user some extra features and enhanced performance. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a somewhat lighter cellphone than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but both are 0.22inches thick.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a very superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a little worse 1968 x 2184 resolution, a quite worse screen pixel density and a little smaller display, it also counts with way more brightness.
