The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has an overall score of 85.3, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's global score of 76.6. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, so it provides you some additional features. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's body is newer and incredibly thinner, but a lot heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a way better 1892 x 2688 resolution and a bigger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a bit longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up some specs and features.
