Microsoft Surface Duo has a global score of 78.8, which is slightly better than the Huawei nova 3's 76.3 score. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Duo has an older 10 version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Microsoft Surface Duo is a noticeably newer and extremely thinner phone than the Huawei nova 3, but it is also incredibly heavier.
Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit more vivid display than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a quite lower amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a higher resolution of 1800 x 2700. Microsoft Surface Duo features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei nova 3. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
Huawei nova 3 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei nova 3 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Huawei nova 3 captures much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei nova 3 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images in poorly lited situations and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a bit better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.
