The LG G8S ThinQ is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Duo, having an 82.5 score against 78.8. The LG G8S ThinQ is an older and much thicker cellphone than the Microsoft Surface Duo, but LG was able to build it notably lighter anyway. These phones use Android OS, but LG G8S ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
LG G8S ThinQ features a screen that is just as good as Microsoft Surface Duo's screen, because although the LG G8S ThinQ has a way smaller screen and a lot lower 1080 x 2248 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater display density. The LG G8S ThinQ has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ's processor is very similar to the CPU in Microsoft Surface Duo, both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores. The LG G8S ThinQ shoots better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a bigger aperture to take better images and video in low-light environments and a more mega pixels camera.
The LG G8S ThinQ has a battery lifetime that is just as good as Microsoft Surface Duo's battery performance, although the LG G8S ThinQ has 3550mAh of battery capacity instead of 3577mAh.
