Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is better than Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 general score. Although LG Velvet and Microsoft Surface Duo were released with only a few months difference, the LG Velvet construction is noticeably lighter but much thicker. The Microsoft Surface Duo features just a little better processing power than LG Velvet. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores.
The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a little sharper screen than LG Velvet, because it has a bigger screen, a higher 1800 x 2700 pixels resolution and a little bit higher pixels density. The LG Velvet counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also counts with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger camera aperture.
The LG Velvet features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet has improved battery life than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
