Moto G9 Plus is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Duo, having a general score of 80.5 against 78.8. Both devices in this review use the same Android 10 operating system. Moto G9 Plus's design is much thicker but lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo, and both were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit sharper screen than Moto G9 Plus, because it has a higher 1800 x 2700 pixels resolution, a bit better pixel quantity in each inch of screen and a larger display. Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better performance than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has more RAM memory.
The Moto G9 Plus features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. The Moto G9 Plus has a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
The Moto G9 Plus counts with a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G9 Plus also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in low-light situations and a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
