The Microsoft Surface Duo is just a bit better than the Motorola One Action, with a 78.8 score against 78.5. Microsoft Surface Duo's body is newer and extremely thinner, but also much heavier than Motorola One Action. Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola One Action, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a larger amount of RAM.
Motorola One Action and Microsoft Surface Duo count with quite similar displays, because although the Motorola One Action has a lot smaller display and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2520px, it also counts with a bit better pixel density. Motorola One Action has a much greater storage to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Motorola One Action also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
The Motorola One Action captures a bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola One Action also counts with a bigger aperture for better photography in low-light situations and a back camera with a better resolution.

If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola One Action, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
