The Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 global score. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10, so it gives a lot of extra features. Even though the Galaxy A42 and the Microsoft Surface Duo were released with only 2 months difference, Galaxy A42's body is a lot thicker but also notably lighter than the Microsoft Surface Duo.
Microsoft Surface Duo features a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot higher display pixel density, a way better 1800 x 2700 resolution and a bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
