Samsung Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy A50 body is lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo, but it is noticeably thicker and was released around 18 months before. The Microsoft Surface Duo features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a higher amount of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Duo counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a just a little worse pixel number in each display inch, it also counts with a larger display and a higher 1800 x 2700 resolution. The Galaxy A50 takes much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Galaxy A50 has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A50 has a little better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
