The Galaxy M12 has a score of 80, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 score. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Galaxy M12's body is a lot thicker but lighter than the Microsoft Surface Duo, and both were released with only 6 months difference.
