Microsoft Surface Duo has a general score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note3's global score of 77.7. These devices use Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has an older 10 version and Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2. Microsoft Surface Duo's construction is a lot newer and incredibly thinner, but noticeably heavier than Galaxy Note3.

The Microsoft Surface Duo features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note3, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1800 x 2700px, a little greater pixel density and a much larger display. The Microsoft Surface Duo features a slightly better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface Duo has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note3 captures clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy Note3 also counts with a camera with more megapixels.
