Microsoft Surface Duo is just a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Plus, with a 78.8 score against 78.6. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has an older 10 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Microsoft Surface Duo's construction is much newer and incredibly thinner, but also heavier than Xperia XA2 Plus.
Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel amount in each inch in the display. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 400 GB.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. The Xperia XA2 Plus has a battery performance that is just as good as the Microsoft Surface Duo one, although the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a 0% bigger battery capacity.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus takes much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and a F2 aperture, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
