The Samsung Captivate is a bit better than Motorola Admiral, getting a overall score of 57.2 against 52.3. The Samsung Captivate body is thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Motorola Admiral, despite of the fact that it was released around 16 months before. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 2.3 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.
Motorola Admiral has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Captivate, although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, they both have 512 MB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Samsung Captivate counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola Admiral, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels amount per screen inch, it also counts with a bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 800 x 480.
The Samsung Captivate counts with a better camera than Motorola Admiral. Both have a back facing camera with a 5 MP resolution, the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rates. The Samsung Captivate has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Admiral, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 32 GB, the Samsung Captivate also has 12 GB more internal memory.
Motorola Admiral counts with improved battery life than Samsung Captivate, because it has a 24% bigger battery size.
In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Captivate is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
