The Galaxy A31 is a bit better than Motorola Defy (2021), with a global score of 81.3 against 77.2. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version while Motorola Defy (2021) has Android 11 version. The Galaxy A31 is an older device than the Motorola Defy (2021), but Samsung made it notably lighter and noticeably thinner anyway.
The Galaxy A31 has a brighter display than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a way better display density. Samsung Galaxy A31's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Motorola Defy (2021), both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A31's storage capacity to install applications and games is just as good as Motorola Defy (2021)'s one, they have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and equal internal memory. Motorola Defy (2021) features just a bit better camera than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a same resolution camera and the same video definition, the Motorola Defy (2021) also has better 60 fps video frame rate, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a bigger camera sensor.
