Samsung Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is much better than Motorola Defy (2021)'s 77.2 score. Samsung Galaxy A71's body is incredibly lighter and a lot thinner than the Motorola Defy (2021), despite of the fact that it was released only 17 months before. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should offer the same OS features.
The Galaxy A71 features a little better performance than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A71 also has more RAM. The Galaxy A71 has a much better display than Motorola Defy (2021), because it has a quite bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a better display density.
The Galaxy A71 features a much greater storage to install applications and games than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Motorola Defy (2021) has a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A71 takes clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back and a lot better (4K) video quality.
