Galaxy Note Edge is way better than the Motorola Droid 4, having an 81.7 score against 62. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note Edge has 5.0 version and Motorola Droid 4 has Android 4.1.2, providing a couple additional features and improved performance. Galaxy Note Edge is a much newer cellphone, and it is also a little lighter and notably thinner than the Motorola Droid 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a way better looking display than Motorola Droid 4, because it has a much larger screen, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy Note Edge counts with a quite better hardware performance than Motorola Droid 4, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 500 megahertz, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and 2 GB more RAM memory.

Galaxy Note Edge shoots a lot better photos and videos than Motorola Droid 4, because it has a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light environments, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Droid 4, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy Note Edge features a very superior battery lifetime than Motorola Droid 4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 1785mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Note Edge is also cheaper.
