The Samsung Galaxy S III is just a bit better than Motorola DROID MAXX, with a 70.8 score against 68.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy S III is older and a bit thicker than Motorola DROID MAXX, it's body is still way lighter. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S III has the previous 4.1.2 version and Motorola DROID MAXX has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Samsung Galaxy S III has a bit better CPU than Motorola DROID MAXX, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 2 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S III also has a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S III counts with just a bit better looking screen than Motorola DROID MAXX, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S III also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels in each display inch.

The Motorola DROID MAXX counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Motorola DROID MAXX also has a more mega pixels camera in the back, higher video frame rate and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited environments.

The Galaxy S III has a bit more memory to install applications and games than Motorola DROID MAXX, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB.
