The Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2100mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S III shoots much clearer photos and videos than Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking images in low light situations, they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution.
