Galaxy J8 has a general score of 76.7, which is slightly better than Motorola DROID Turbo 2's 75.4 global score. The Galaxy J8 design is much newer and thinner, but also just a little bit heavier than Motorola DROID Turbo 2. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a way higher pixels quantity per display inch.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a bit better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way higher video resolution and a much higher resolution camera in the back.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features much more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 7% more battery capacity.
