Comparison review

Xperia Z3 has a score of 77.3, which is a bit better than Motorola DROID Turbo 2's 75.4 general score. The Xperia Z3 body is a little bit thinner than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it is a bit heavier and was released around 14 months before. The Sony Xperia Z3 features a more vivid display than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it has a just a little worse screen pixels density, a quite smaller screen and a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Z3, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia Z3 has a bit better CPU than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia Z3 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a little better battery duration than Xperia Z3, because it has a 3760mAh battery size against 3200mAh. The Xperia Z3 has a little bit better camera than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it has a camera in the back with lesser megapixels and a worse (4K) video resolution, they both have a F2 aperture.

Although Sony Xperia Z3 is a better device, it is more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola DROID Turbo 2. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Motorola DROID Turbo 2, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
