Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 has a general score of 77.6, which is slightly better than Motorola DROID Turbo 2's overall score of 75.4. Even though Sony Xperia Z5 and the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 were released with only a couple of months difference, Sony Xperia Z5 is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has an additional graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit sharper screen than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, a little bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the display and a quite smaller display.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Xperia Z5 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 also has a back camera with a better 23 megapixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low-light situations.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 3760mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola DROID Turbo 2. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
