The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is slightly better than the Huawei Nova 9, having a general score of 87.1 against 81. Even being the best device in this review, we must note that it is also just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Huawei Nova 9 features a screen that's just as good as the Motorola Edge 20 Lite one, although the Huawei Nova 9 has a little bit smaller screen, a bit less pixels per inch of screen and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Huawei Nova 9 features a little better performance than Motorola Edge 20 Lite. They have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite captures better videos and photos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also has a lot more MP back facing camera and faster 120 frames per second video frame rate.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite has better battery lifetime than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery capacity.
