Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is better than Motorola Defy (2021), with an 87.1 score against 77.2. Even though the Motorola Edge 20 Lite and Motorola Defy (2021) were only released 2 months apart, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite is way thinner and a lot lighter. Both of these phones include the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite features a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Defy (2021), because it has a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little bigger screen and a greater pixel quantity per display inch.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite takes much better photographs and videos than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photos or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much more megapixels back-facing camera.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also has 128 GB internal storage. Motorola Defy (2021) counts with a battery life that is just as good as the Motorola Edge 20 Lite one.
