The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is much better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, getting an 87.1 score against 76.3. These phones use Android OS, but Motorola Edge 20 Lite has older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite construction is somewhat thicker and much heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Galaxy Alpha has a little better performance than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Alpha counts with just a bit better looking display than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a lot smaller screen.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also has a back-facing camera with a way better resolution, a larger aperture and better video frame rates.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 169% bigger battery capacity.
