Motorola Edge 20 Pro is way better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a 92.8 score against 77.2. Although it's the best phone in this review, it must be noted that it is also older, just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 20 Pro has an older 12 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 has a slightly better screen than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels in each screen inch.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, because it has more internal storage capacity.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro has just a little better battery performance than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
