Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a global score of 92.8, which is much better than Moto G 5G's score of 81.5. Even though the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and Moto G 5G were only released 8 months apart, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro is lighter and incredibly thinner. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a newer 12 version while Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, so it gives you some nice extra features and improved performance.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a bit better screen than Motorola Moto G 5G. Both have the same display pixels density, the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a screen with the same size. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a little bit better storage to install applications and games than Moto G 5G, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Moto G 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a much better camera than Moto G 5G, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a way better video definition and a lot more MP back-facing camera.
The Moto G 5G features a little better battery life than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because it has an 11% more battery size.
